A little care goes a long way

Cleaning and storing your toys properly helps keep them ready for next time. Care requirements vary by material and design. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for your specific product; this guide does not replace them.

Check before use

Read the instructions before your first use. Inspect the toy for cracks, tears, rough edges, exposed wiring, or other damage. Stop using a damaged toy.

Clean as directed

Clean your toy before and after use using the method and cleaning products recommended by its manufacturer. Rinse only where the instructions allow, and let the toy dry fully before storing it.

Do not assume a toy can be boiled, put in a dishwasher, or cleaned with alcohol or bleach. Use those methods only if the manufacturer explicitly permits them.

Protect powered toys

Water-resistant does not necessarily mean suitable for immersion. Do not submerge a powered toy unless its instructions specifically allow it. Keep charging ports and electrical components dry as directed, and never charge a wet device. Use the recommended charger and follow the charging instructions.

Choose compatible lubricant

Check the manufacturer's recommendations for lubricant compatibility. Do not assume that a lubricant is suitable for every toy material.

Store clean and dry

Store toys in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Use separate storage pouches or containers where recommended to prevent contact between different materials. Follow the manufacturer's battery and long-term storage guidance.
